CAC.9 focuses on Creative Agency in the Post-Intelligent Age. It invites contributions that address how individual and collective forms of human creative agency are redistributed, constrained, augmented, or transformed in relation to algorithmic systems, generative models, autonomous agents, and other forms of machine “creative” agency. Submissions may be theoretical, empirical, historical, practice-based, or research-creation.
Contributions are organised around three main axes.
Axis 1 – Experiencing and Practising Agency :
Institutional and Individual Creative Agencies in the Age of Intelligent Machines
Axis 2 – Critical and Reflective Perspectives :
Creating in the Age of Intelligent Machines : What Future for Human Creative Agency ?
Axis 3 – Prospective and Experimental Trajectories :
Reinventing Creative Agency with Intelligent Machines : New Frontiers
